1. Information We Process

FlashMail is built on the principle of data minimization (GDPR Article 5). We do not require accounts, passwords, phone numbers, or credit cards. When an incoming email arrives at your temporary address, the MIME payload is parsed and stored ephemerally in Cloudflare KV.

2. Data Retention & Auto-Deletion (TTL)

Every stored message has a strict Time-to-Live (TTL) of 10 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours depending on your selection. When the TTL expires, Cloudflare permanently purges the message. Users can immediately purge all mailbox data via the "Clear Inbox" button.

3. Zero Data Monetization & Third-Party SDKs

We do not sell, rent, or trade email data or verification OTPs to advertisers. We do not embed third-party tracking pixels, marketing beacons, or telemetry scripts.

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

FlashMail is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from minors.

5. Data Subject Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to access, rectify, or erase any temporary data associated with your session. Inquiries can be sent to privacy@passchord.com.

Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing FlashMail on passchord.com, you agree to comply with these Terms of Service and all applicable local, national, and international laws.

You agree NOT to use FlashMail to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk marketing, spam, or abusive communications.

  • Engage in cyber attacks, bot registration abuse, or unauthorized exploitation.

3. Service Provided "As Is"

FlashMail is provided strictly on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Temporary emails may be dropped or purged upon TTL expiration.

4. Termination & Abuse Mitigation

We reserve the right to block IPs, drop emails, or terminate access for users who violate these Terms.

1. Storage Technologies Used

FlashMail uses standard browser localStorage strictly for essential functional capabilities. We do not set third-party marketing, analytics, or behavioral cookies.

2. Storage Keys & Purpose

  • flashmail_active_session_v6: Stores your currently chosen active temporary mailbox prefix so your session persists across refreshes.
  • flashmail_secret_token_v6: A cryptographically random secret token that authorizes your browser to retrieve and delete emails for your temporary address, preventing unauthorized mailbox snooping.
  • flashmail_storage_consent: Records your acknowledgment of the essential storage notice.

3. Managing Storage

You can clear these keys at any time via your browser developer tools or settings, or by clicking "Clear Inbox".

Data Deletion Request

1. Instant Self-Service Erasure (Right to be Forgotten)

In accordance with GDPR Article 17 and CCPA, you have full control over your data. You can permanently delete all messages stored in your temporary inbox instantly by clicking the "Clear Inbox" button on your dashboard. This immediately purges all keys from the Cloudflare KV database.

2. Automatic Expiry

All temporary emails are configured with hard expiration TTLs (10 minutes, 1 hour, or 24 hours). Once the TTL elapses, Cloudflare automatically and permanently deletes the data with zero backups retained.
